AutoDataInsights (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides automotive registration data, trade data and market research through autodatainsights.com (the “site”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through the site, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. You can contact us at info@autodatainsights.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form we collect your name, work email, company, the type of enquiry (data request or market research), the details you select (such as region, segment, level of detail, delivery format, period, geography, type of study and timeline) and any message you write.
Information collected automatically. Our analytics tool records aggregated usage information such as the pages you view, the page that referred you, your approximate location (country), your device and browser type, and whether you click key buttons or submit the form.
We do not collect payment details through this site, and we do not ask for sensitive personal information.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare the data or research you ask about.
- To operate, secure and improve the site and understand which pages and enquiries are useful.
- To keep business records and meet legal obligations.
- To prevent spam and misuse of the contact form.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not make automated decisions about you.
4. Basis for processing
We process the information you submit because you ask us to respond to your enquiry, and with your consent when you submit the form. We process analytics data for our legitimate interest in running and improving the site. Where applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, requires consent, you may withdraw it at any time (see section 9).
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed for those services:
- Hosting and delivery of the site: Vercel Inc.
- Delivery of contact form emails: Resend.
- Website analytics: our analytics provider (such as Plausible Analytics or Google Analytics).
Some of these providers are located outside India, so your information may be processed in other countries. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.
6. Cookies and analytics
The site does not use advertising cookies. Our analytics provider may use cookies or similar technologies, or cookie-free methods, to measure usage in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.
7. How long we keep information
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable business records, and then delete or anonymise them. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form in line with the provider’s settings.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we limit access to enquiry emails to people who need them. No online service can be completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights and grievances
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to withdraw your consent. Write to info@autodatainsights.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you have a concern about how we handle your information, you can write to the same address and we will address it.
10. Children
The site is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Links to other sites
The site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
